sick of having 6 balls fouled off on terrible pitchs for hitters only for them to hit a homerun cause you can't get them striked out at all

He can [censored] all he wants and I agree with him. Just because they made it a tiny bit better doesn’t mean they should forget about it. It’s still an issue even if it is improved.

they had to dumb down the game this year for the switch players. so that's why you can foul off a pitch 10 feet above your head this year. little tommy will swing at everything and does not like striking out. and that's the truth.

Pitchers during one year threw 187 sliders at knee height at around the space below a batters hands , which had a batting average of 0.047 and a contact average of 0.061 when slider was thrown at this particular area , I got it from google when searched the most unhittable pitch, So in 187 pitchs it was hit once and fouled off once so thats a total of twice the ball touched the bat at all in this area.

So you're trying to tell me i should be grateful that a player who is swinging at every pitch makes a contact average of 1.000 of an at bat with 8 sliders thrown in what is called an unhittable spot because of statistics

No they need to fix it, If you want to swing at every pitch then expect to get struck out alot not foul-foul-foul-foul-foul-foul-foul-foul very late fastball inside at hands bloop single or hitting a homerun after you get 12 attempts to hit a pitch because the game isn't punishing bad skill

edit: also bear in mind this is on hall of fame difficulty that it happened i lost 4-3 my 3 runs were from good swings, 3 of his 4 were from 2 late hits on bloop fastballs then a 6 fouls ball and he lucked out on a homerun from just swinging at every pitch, its not competitive
