How is will smith getting boosted for the dodgers when Contreras is doing quite a bit better in real hitting his stats than him? And Contreras got dropped on righty contact and lefty power pretty heavily? And he’s never gotten a good diamond card ever in the last 3 years when he’s been an all star a couple times? The disrespects is heavy to him. No way he shouldn’t get something for having a really nice catching career and playing well this year.

And I’m not complaining about the overall system, for the most part it works. And maybe the advanced metrics match up with the last two weeks. I’m just shocked he has never gotten a diamond ever since I started playing this game in 2018.

No one’s entitled to a diamond. I’m just, more or less, stating the disrespect to him. Not many diamond catchers are ever in the game. He could have one for something in his career. Maybe a flashback to an all star year, a topps now moment for when he homered in his first ever at bat and pitch seen, something.
