It’s rigged you can tell every game plays different
I agree with this.
There are too many inconsistencies with regard to outcomes. A perfect/perfect pitch could end up a foot away from the possible location outcome. A perfect/perfect hit could be a groundout while a very early swing on a ball on the inside corner could be a home run. RNG will always be a part of the game, but I feel year by year the importance of skill becomes less relevant.
I get they want to make the game competitive, but they should do more than pitch speed differential to separate skill levels. I feel like they should make a game mode where RNG has very little influence over outcomes. I understand that some might think that would make the game more monotonous, but to me, it would be more fair and consistent.
I also wish SDS could explain the hitting and pitching engine a bit better. I believe that would add a lot of clarity for the community.
Thank you. Finally someone who can articulate something instead of being a troll and telling someone to get good and not choke.. the mlb community is so toxic. No one can be serious

Wins 31 straight - too much RNG. Can’t make this stuff up.

Lol, imagine being lucky for 31 games and then complaining about RNG…
-
I'll say it again. Anyone who thinks that this game has a built in comeback code is giving SDS too much credit. They can't fix freezeoffs or sinkers you really think they would put comeback code in the game on purpose and have it work correctly?
-
OP really seems to be lacking awareness on an impressive level.

Diaz strikes out Ramirez to end the game. Reds win 5-4 and on cue Brantley states “you know why people love baseball”…. “It’s unscripted”
Unlike this game bc it’s so scripted lol
71-5 lol crybaby

No matter how much I’m up or down I can always come back or lose a lead. Am I the only one that has been thru this? Having a huge lead blown due to the game trying to make the other team come back, regardless if you’re the one coming back? I just wanted to know if I’m the only one or not that this happens to.
Yes. It is so people like HustlinOwl and TylersLikeWhoa can compete. Otherwise, they would take their ball and go home.

You call it whining. I call it bringing up a serious issue in game play.
How can it be whining when I had like 400 losses on my RS record last year? Obviously, I could give a [censored] about losing a video game. It does suck the fun out of it which is the whole purpose of video games, is it not?

Never been on GamerSaloon. Pretty sure it is a gambling thing. What state are you in just in cast you want to do a friendly I'll know where to vpn into?

The only part that makes me suspicious of rubber banding is throwing where the catcher suggests. That has always bothered me tbh, so I just never throw where the catcher says...I have I'd estimate a 95% success rate with that, as opposed to I'd venture between 75%-80% with what the catcher suggests.

100% believe it does and I am fine if you say I have a tinfoil hat or anything else. I do not believe it is RNG, because that would be random. I completely believe that pitcher confidence, clutch, quirks, 125 attributes and other features are designed in a way that can and will cause games to quickly shift...especially in late innings. I believe that is the design of Diamond Dynasty....highly dramatic games at the cost of almost everything else. I also believe that leads to a lot of the very frustrating gameplay complaints...off PCI home runs, PP outs, fielders suddenly not being able to field a routine groundball...it all just leads to random and questionable outcomes.
Diamond Dynasty plays completely different than the other game modes. Some of those aspects are there in a smaller degree, but an online rated game is not going to have the "what the heck is going on" aspect that a RS game will. In an online rated game if you are beating someone and you are significantly better than them, you can close out a game no matter how bad a pitcher is struggling. A pitching change, adjustment in pitch mix, etc. will work. That is often not the case in DD.
Sure you can play the "it's baseball" card and give isolated examples of amazing comebacks, but the amount of DD games that have people who look like they have never played the game, turn into the best around during a commercial break is a significantly higher percentage. I say this based on the ridiculous comebacks I have had in this game just as much or more as the ones where I have been beaten. Just last night I walked in my son's room and he says "I honestly think this is the best player I have ever played". He walks in my room 30 minutes later and goes "yep...this comeback thing is real. Two games in a row it has gone in my favor. I could tell that guy was so frustrated, he didn't even move his fielder. No way I should have won those games."

It is there. People are just blind. I could list you a ton of things but here are just a few. Have you ever noticed fielders or base runners slowing down? More or less urgency on fielders depending whether or not you are losing. If you haven't noticed, you can gamble more on the bases when you are losing as opposed to winning. Check swings, foul ball for outs, there are a lot more.

And yes, i do believe there is comeback logic built in, similar to what EA eas doing. Sds wont admit it, and i have no real proof but im going off the thousands of games ive played throughout the years lol
