When the game first comes out, it has 40 man rosters that aren't ideal to the real MLB... Then as the weeks go on and the patches get updated, the show adds the players that were not in the game previously. Which results in a super high price because now the 40 man collection has changed and the market is not flooded with this one particular player..
-
Gotcha thanks guys I knew it had to be something
-
Do these players get added to collections, making them more expensive to do??

This happens everytime a new player gets added to a collection, it's nothing new or unusual.

It's not that they are rare to pull, per se, it is that most people see a bronze and think (generally rightly) "Oh another worthless bronze card" and just quick sell, exchange, or let it sit in collections. They are rare, in that people just don't sit back and sell a ton of that particular card because the vast majority of bronze are worthless and it was just added to the game and not a lot out there.
