Of course machado is not the best player, but statistically he has been this far this season. Should have been a lock for 90+. Also no way trout and freeman should have been downgraded. Don’t know what they are doing

They made him slightly worse Vs Righty but way better Vs Lefties with inside edge+ Vs righty I still think his a better card now .

Yea trout has nearly a 1.2 ops, downgraded. Freeman very respectable stats so far, downgraded. Machado best BA by a long shot as well as near the top in HR, not 90. They confuse me. They got the gold to diamonds right, but totally whack on the other upgrades.

I think people shouldn't look at OVR ratings; they adjust individual ratings and the OVR is just the product of the formula used to create the OVR. Some stats are weighed more than others, and if they round up or down, a 0.1 difference is all it takes.

They don’t watch baseball. These aren’t based on real ball or “ the 3 year average BS “ it’s just random and whoever they want for no reason. Jeremy pena is also a bronze still. A bronze. They decreased machados power to intentionally keep him below 90. He has 7 hr and they decrease his power. Makes no sense

Best pitcher in baseball by all metrics got -3 on his H/9. Sub 1 FIP. Sub 2 xFip.
But Verlander gets a +2 overall with +3 Fip and XFip, striking out fewer batters and walking more ... +2.
K/9 are both at 72......Verlander is at a 7.97 K/9.....Gausman is at 10.89
That makes little to no sense whatsoever
