Mini Seasons: An Unhandled Server Exception occured

This just happened to me. I had no issues my first two times through the mini season mode, but got the error after progressing through the Semis to take on the the Pinheads in the Championship Series. Is there any hope here, or do I need to just cut my loses and restart the season?

Might as well uninstall.
This error is mildly universal in coding with Python. They will fix this issue and you will be waiting because your data STILL doesn't match there's and it won't update unless you resync by starting a new mini season.
I'm about 3-4 games away from solidifying my independent diagnosis of the remaining error during the transition between opponents in the playoffs. Once SDS gets that from me and others, this issue will have no other causes.
95% of the issues with mini season have been addressed. Please take this into consideration while choosing to soap box and demand something for your time.

Just because this "error" can appear in Python codes does not mean it should appear this frequently in multimillion dollar projects.

SDS does not care one bit about anything you or anyone else not on their dev team sends them

You never address what your "independent diagnosis" found or how that will solve the problem only that "the issue will have no other causes".

If 95% of the issues with mini seasons have been solved name 19 other issues with mini seasons that SDS fixed.

People paid for this game and spent multiple hours getting to the championship. They/we deserve to get the product we paid for.

Did anyone ever get a fix for this?? I'm on day 3 of this server error when i try to enter mini seasons after i finally reached the championship 3 days ago. It's [censored]

Still happening to folks. Unfortunately, no rhyme or reason. Patterns I thought existed, turned out to be dead ends.
I'll try to get some rolling this week again and hope that I get the USE. I'm rooting hard for an error. I actively now playing mini on both the PS4 and PS5, same account. Hopefully SDS can update folks

Here is my theory. Again, I made it through the first time, no issue. Second time I got the error. Waited for a fix for a week but then restarted. Ive since finished 9 seasons with no issue. I have made it a habit not to change my lineup or pitchers. I also try to do it in as little time as possible (maximum is three days start to finish). I make sure that when I make the playoffs I have time to grind out 6 straight wins. With all that said I think the issue lies with your opponents lineups. These are player created teams with the generic team names (Cats, Lemurs, etc). However, in certain screens you can see their player created logo. Some are not appropriate (one was a Nazi sign) which I'm sure earns them a ban. So when playing through the regular season the team is locked in but when playoffs roll around, the cpu resets the roster(s) for the rotation and if that team has been banned, it causes the error. I have no proof but this seems like a plausible scenario. So if you can play through the season and playoffs quickly, you can get it done before SDS can find these teams and ban them.

Every team you play against, is a DD roster of a user. What roster it is, I can't say. Lineup 1,2,3 or 4? I would have to assume, it's 1.
Game history will help you figure out the opponent name.
I've seen bad lineups get autocorrected at the start of the game, or pitcher being PH for as well in inning 1. Typical reason is those teams have Ohtani hitting early in the lineup.
CAP will always be replaced by a bench bat, without exception.
I also thought about a card no longer being owned by the opponent. Let's say they rented Trout, you play them, 2 days go by and they sell him. They'd be replaced though on that person's DD lineup. I threw that out the window.
One thing that I unfortunately cannot test unless I get paired with an opponent I know, is if they make a change to their DD lineup while I happen to be playing them... Seems like a good candidate, as after the game is over, stats get added to both teams. They show up as offline stats. I have a few pitchers that never lost when I play vs CPU or in mini season, and they now have 3 losses. I go game history, and sure enough somebody played my team In a mini season.

Same Happened to me. Win the Semifinal round, the same message about unhandled...... on 5/10/22
I'll probably just wait and see, but after reading these, doubtful.

Finally gave up waiting for SDS fixing the problem and restarted. Second go around and already there are ridiculous God Squads in the mode. I have 4 games left to finish the season and I'm not sure if I will even bother with the playoffs. The aggravation of playing these cheesy OP teams isn't worth it. I'm done with this mode until the put some type of cap in place. If I wanted to play cheesy OP teams, I'd play BR, Ranked, etc.

Just experienced this issue for the first time after about 6 time playing through mini seasons. I was up against the pinheads in the championship. Will most likely just restart because I don’t see this being fixed any time soon.
Absolutely mind blowing to me that this has been going on since launch and there still isn’t a solution. SDS goes onto these live streams talking up about these modes and how great the game is but it is still very broken.
