Spring Cleanup Bosses

Took Banks because he had a great swing last year; so far, so good. Took Justice by process of elimination, but already regretting it because as I feared, his speed in LF has cost me sure outs and extra bases by not getting to balls in time. Good thing I haven't locked him in collection already.
Seaver is not great, Britton looks impressive by stats but is fairly hittable, and I never do well with Matthews. Underwhelming bosses this time around.

Who did you choose (and why) with your 2 Spring Cleanup Bosses Packs (Mathews, Britton, Banks, Seaver, Justice)?
I took Britton and Justice. I value RP quite a bit because I play a lot of Events so need as much RP as possible. Then I took Justice because I hardly used him last year, but when I finally did he had a great swing. I haven't pitched with Britton well so far and I haven't used Justice pretty much at all yet. Trying to P5 Haniger first in the few Ranked games I actually play.

Britton and Seaver. Needed more quality pitchers, my infield is good with great defense and top tier speed so im not taking any of them out. Also, i've never been able to hit with Matthews.;

Took Britton (high h/9 lefty with sinker and slow slider) and Justice (yankee fan, plus like his swing/splits and hes a 2nd half card).
IF is packed with good cards already. FOTF Seager, FOTF Jazz FOTF Devers all hit well. LS Turner at SS. I want to eventually put my CAP in somewhere (probably SS). Probably try and buy them all eventually.
Thanks khain24. I was debating on Mathews, but you make a great point about the infield.
I have Matthew's playing 3rd for me. His swing is so good he made Michael Young a bench bat

He neither, but for whatever reason I'm killing the ball with him this year.

I took Britton with the 1st pack because a solid lefty in the pen is always welcome & I need more milestone cards for future collections.
I never opened the second pack because the choices were lackluster. I’ll waiting to see which series I am short on (probably 2nd 1/2) when collections come out.

I couldnt even do his moment for some reason. The hit a HR one. This isnt a new thing either....i think it was 2019 he was the first player program and for some reason every time i made good contact it would just die mid-RF.

Thanks yankblan. That 45 speed for Justice sucks. I usually don’t play well with Banks, but he was hitting bombs for me in the Spring Cleanup Showdown.

If I could have selected Matthews twice I would have. Love that swing. I took Banks because a Banks, Santo, Sandberg, Rizzo infield will be fun for a Cubs theme team. If I ever have one.
-
I wanted to play with each of the bosses again, so I re-did the Spring Cleanup moments for the bosses and Mathews was hitting home runs out of the park like nothing.
