I must be doing something wrong. Or the game just “hates me” tonight. I’ve had to take the Yankees, Mets, and Orioles strongholds on AllStar. Crazy. I’ve stolen fans on Vet, but the easiest mode I get offered when taking the stronghold is Allstar. Sheesh.

Sorry guys ( not trying to start a flame war), but the advice in this thread simply doesn’t work. You do not get the 150 fans without stealing on Allstar or higher at every stronghold.
I just completed it and was about 20 fans short.
I’m giving this f@“$&ing map a miss. It is awful.

It sounds like your misstepping something somehow. I played the Yankees and Mets on AllStar, Orioles and Braves on Vet and the the Cubs on Rookie by the time I was done. Had the entire map and all goals done by turn 10.
What exactly was your strategy? -

I stole on Vet for O's, Mets and Yankees, then played each stronghold on Vet for those three. Cubs and Braves were Rookie for me as I had enough fans. Completed all hexagons by turn 10 after dispersing the reinforcements strategically. The 150 fans, for me, was just before I finished the map. I did one last reinforcement (as I only had 138m fans). There were 42 reinforcements there so I got past the 150 before round 13 and before I completed the map. If you have done all other things and have a round or two where you can reinforce, do that so the fans add up past 150.

I beat the map w/o playing any games on allstar, only veteran and finished in 12 rounds.

I finished in 9 turns I believe. Just knock out the strongholds and it’s a breeze.

That’s it!! That’s what I did NOT do! I finished the map at around turn 11. Did not think to reinforce an extra turn or two without attacking.
Reinforce until you get to 150 fans before conquering that last open square on the map.
Sheesh. The 30k XP is nice. But the aggravation from this map…. Not so much.

Went straight to Yankees. Played on Allstar (which I never do). Sweaty, 5 inning affair where I win on a single hit (homer)
Go straight to Mets. Try to steal 2 fans. Sweaty game follows where I win 3-2 after my closer (91 clase) gets knocked around and I hang on
Then, the CPU attacks me and takes a fan from me before I go after Mets stronghold. Have to play them on Allstar. (Again, which I never do).
Sweaty, tense extra innings game follows where I win 1-0. None of this is relaxing. ZERO.
I take two more spaces towards the Orioles stronghold. I’m at at the steal fans phase in turn 2. Going to steal 2 fans and head straight to Orioles.
Question for those who have finished this blasted Map. Am I on pace to be able to finish this thing in 13 turns? I am in turn 2 with 24 territories. If so, thanks for the encouragement. If not, I’m stopping now and waving the white flag! My blood pressure can’t take much more of this one.

I took my time after knocking out the Yankees and Mets on Turn 3 and still completed the map on Turn 9. 13 is a cake walk.

Thanks to all for replying to my posts and for the offer of help. As I mentioned above, I should have reinforced one more time before taking the last territory. That would have gotten me 150 fans.
Went back and replayed the map. This time I just attacked open territories and reinforced. No stealing fans or messing with strongholds. I had to sim thru several territories with one opposing fan on them. No biggie.
Got 150 territories on or about the 11th turn that way. Pretty straightforward.

It didn't. To complete all tasks on the map, you have to take over every hex before the end of the 13th turn. There was 1 hex left over when I completed everything and it rolled into my 14th turn. I cleared it but I didn't get the full completion... due to 1 hex. I had to redo the map. I finished it that night. Not a big deal, just annoying over 1 hex.

I didn't steal fans at all and didn't play a game above all-star and got done on turn 10 or 11 I believe.

To me, it's crazy that you all have such a hard time with conquest, the moments and showdowns. Everytime in the past that I have played against any of you, you completely mop the floor with me.
But I have zero problems completing all the offline modes almost always on my first try. I would say, get good, but you are all way better than me!

Played 5 of the first 6 on AS.
Did it in 12 turns.
Had to play Oriles twice as I refused to sit up from my laying down position. I had to Resume gamer position tho.
Got LS Trea Turner out of a headline pack and got Kershaw with the stubs I had from the packs.
Didn’t take long. Maybe 1hr 15m. Worth it for Trea!

So I basically somehow beat yankees on allstar, stole twice from Mets on veteran, got to beat Mets on rookie and now cubs on veteran. Looks easy coasting but why were Mets harder on veteran than Yankees on allstar
