Two things that might need to be tweaked.

It seems like I’m getting thrown out at home with two outs more often than normal.
Running on contact it seems unrealistic.
Also, trying to stretch a double with a normal ground ball hit down the line seems impossible.

No seriously it's not lol. I'm just interested in what you would change since I just started a new franchise. I'm basically a new player since the only version of MLB I ever played was MLB 20 and mainly just do the offline stuff. I did a little DD to get gear for my RttS guy, but I don't care about DD for the most part. So overall, I don't know a whole lot about it. But so far, I'm finding 20 to be more polished than 22. MLB 22 is really sloppy in the execution, interface and general settings by comparison. I'm trying to ignore the slop and enjoy the game, but it's fighting me.

The only reason I even got 22 (I skipped 21) was because I heard the they fixed the trade logic, but so far, it's not worth making the switch. It's a little prettier though.

Well Josh is the guy to talk to about settings in Franchise, if i'm not mistaken it's all he plays. Hopefully he can pass along some of that wisdom on to you.👍

Then I refer you to Jake98833's post entitled "looking for..." That will get your started on the sliders but to set up 30 team control and all that stuff and pre settings before you start your Franchise that will take a bit more explaining. And thank you for trying to be a man and less nooby by trying Franchise and not DD stuff.
