The only number I'm monitoring right now is 1.08. The game won't likely get turned back on until I see it.
-
So I've been told that pci's are too small and don't get hits ever without being in the small center pci but now we get hits without the pci touching the ball?

You and me both, searching the PS store now to find something new to play.

It feels like the numbers are the deciding factor instead of our feedback when it comes to changes, so how about some transparency?
Hitting: Yes, I feel like Perfect/Perfect is being rewarded but so are bad hits. I get hits with the PCI not even touching the ball, HR’s with Early/Okay, singles up the middle with Early/Way out front etc. I’m sure there’s a bar graph that shows the number of successful hit for each type of swing.
Errors: What’s the average amount of errors during games? We had a wonderful post from a member last year that put this category to shame. The amount of errors in this game is way off compared to REAL BASEBALL. You need to to factor in, we are assembling rosters with current/past stars and HOF’ers. Comparing that to an AVERAGE real baseball team, the numbers don’t add up.
Pitching: Very bad this year. What’s the average number of Perfect Release pitches going for balls or being hit? In my experience, perfect release are being served down the middle at an alarming rate, I’d love to see the hit rate on perfect release pitches.
All in all, are you tuning the game to get closer to real life baseball or to keep players active?
This game plays so much different than last year. I always feel like I’m in an uphill battle. Why is Mondesi hitting homeruns like it’s going out of style? I can’t hit the broad side of a barn this year. I’m not understand how I’m late on a 94 fastball but early on a 93 sinker, then late again at 94. I think the game throttles a lot of play. I’ve never hit this bad in my entire life.

Exactly, wins/loses in the mid to lower levels are fake. The game fabricates them and controls outcomes. Should that have been a hit? Heck no, but the game made it happen and I won because of it. Stuff like that happens because they want to retain players, plain and simple.

Or it happens because the game is too easy, sometimes you get a hit when you're early on the ball, the game doesn't control outcomes, if it does then I would like to thank Ramone, Tips, Victor, all the guys at SDS for allowing me to lose 4 games on my run to world series, because of them for the last 3-4 years the odds have ever been in my favour.

It must be too easy, if people are going to complain because they get a hit that they're early on sometimes then how about the game goes to only perfect-perfect gets hits and we'll see what kind of complaints you guys have then lol

Probably cause you blow your entire paycheck on the game, then complain that a common pitcher is striking you out with a knuckleball.

Nope, I bought stubs in MLB the show 16, that year I finished 20 games over .500 on the year, since then the lowest I've finished has been ranked 233 lifetime. So how come when I didn't spend money on the game I've been hundreds of games over .500? Why did the game choose me as one of the "chosen ones"

Too easy or too forgiving? Not sure bout you but I’d rather lose to someone who could hit and not lose to someone who the game was too forgiving with their hits. The better hitter should always win, that doesn’t happen in this game. Throw in the errors and garbage pitching....absolutely the game has an influence in outcomes.

Both, too easy and too forgiving, the game has always been too easy on all star, that's why people have always said the game plays better on hall of fame and legend, all star is a casual mode.

I agree, that’s why I said the wins/loses are fabricated. It’s a matter of who gets favored the most that determines the winner.

The game plays crappy on lower tiers. I’m having so many issues this early. I’m not good by any means, but once I got even to “pennant race” in ‘20 I could tell a difference in game play. That’s what I’m saying about it being a gamble. Then you dig yourself in such a rut trying to figure out what you’re doing wrong you adjust to a point that it’s screwing yourself over. I sat around 700’s last year and have been up to 500’s once this year. I’ll never get to World Series, but Jesus something’s gotta give.
