Ranked seasons world series reward

Seems like they are toning cards down this year compared to last year. So cards are more useable for a longer period of time. Compared to last year where 2nd inning was 95 overall and Ws rewards were 96 Seager and Wieter I believe. Jumped to all 99 overalls way too quickly

Better a Vinny Castillo card at this point in the year than the inevitable Dante Bichette.
CarGo 2010 season would be a sick card. 5 tool player GG SS and stealing bases.

I mean last year the second ranked reward was 94 or 95 Kyle Seager, I’m assuming Vinny will be probably be just as good. I’m not a Rockies fan, but having Vinny in the game is great, he was one of the guys who really got the franchise going with Larry Walker, Dante Bichette and The Big Cat. I’m not sure why this card would be an L other than he’s not a big enough name for younger people.

Because like every other year they will wait until the 7th and 8th inning to drop the big dogs by the time half the community is bored or done playing. Vinny Castillo might have decent stats but I will always have to wait for Ken Griffey Jr and Jimmy Fox and babe Ruth and all the huge name guys until I'm almost done with the game. Cards have been blah in my opinion this entire first month and I have most of them I just don't have every single face of the franchise or the Joe mauer collection or those stupid anime cards but I have everything else

I mean sure ok we all want those big name guys but releasing their est card 1 month into the game is never going to happen. That's just business if all the big name guys got 99 overall cards in May and June (happen once before) the game because meaning less or the rest of the cycle you don't keep people engaged and buying stubs and packs for your game.
You may not agree with this strategy but that's what it is engagement of the game for as long as possible and part of that is dangling big name legends an their best card as coming later in the game

This is my issue with the content. It's awesome but the cards I WANT to play with aren't released until when I'm usually done with the game.

Agree but with how [censored] poor the online game is, lot of people will be bailing before they even see a 99.

grinding all year for complete LS collections and then boom new game - this is the biggest problem
unless you have no life or some kid with 0 life responsibilities then it just sucks

The 91 Andre Dawson is garbage whether you like his Swing or not. Unless youre a fan of the hawk, he doesn't make most squads. And enough of the "it's a free card." All cards are free you just have to 0lay the game to get them. Gimme my 99 Foxx or Griffey and I will pipe down.

im rocking in RS right now Bader in LF, Buxtonator in CF, and that Veteran Gold Hunter Renfrew in RF - this is a deadly combo for me so far until then yes Griffey is the main dawg and TroutFish

im rocking in RS right now Bader in LF, Buxtonator in CF, and that Veteran Gold Hunter Renfrew in RF - this is a deadly combo for me so far until then yes Griffey is the main dawg and TroutFish
Nice! Have you hit hall of Fame yet? Curious to see how those cards hold up. I just p5 Clemente and Degrom . Clemente is so good

Well that's never gonna happen so if you want to play with 99s right off the bat then buy the game later in the year.

Then you have to wait for the 99s. The end. If you want the 99s now that's fine, that's your opinion but you are in the minority and it's not going to happen so trying to sound cool by saying Boone cares about cards because YOU don't care about a card just makes you look like a tool
