a way to earn stubs. What I don't need are icons, silver stars (no sell), bat skins, unlockables, a classic stadium, or uniforms. And the whole concept of collections is ludicrous. 1200 cards, some costing as much 150-200k for a bunch of unsellable cards, your stuck with. Last year, I foolishly, chose a 2nd German Marquez in team affinity, oops, needed Ketal Marte, there was no other way to get Marte and made the Griffey collection impossible to complete. I won't do that again, but who knew?

They’ve never really handed out stubs since the stat rewards in 17. It’s all pack based profit and selling rewards/bosses.

You get a healthy amount of stubs by doing mini seasons. I went from 7k to now 68k just playing mini season and flipping what I got from the packs (No diamonds)
Hmm, maybe I'll finish one. I started one on veteran, went 4-4, frustrating losing in veteran against the cpu, but I did start a new one on rookie, 6-0, maybe I'll grind out, what is it? 22 more. Hope there's not a lot of extra innings games. I'll see what happens, I'm at 5013 stubs now. Thanks.

Yeah my dude if you are having trouble making stubs you need to adjust you plan and scope. Hard to make recommendations on how to help when we don't don't what you have been doing up to this point.
Listen the 21 system was all smoke and mirrors TA made players beleive they were making alot of progress in a short period of time when really the game NMS is a grind.
I have made so many stubs in the game doing conquest events and mini seasons. AL collection done and I gather more and more cards everyday.

I am proud to say I’ve made enough to purchase Trout today. That is my goal in the beginning of every season. In the meanwhile I’ve accumulated a lot of players and will start finishing off collections one by one.
Stubs are a grind early. As a grinder I actually appreciate that. 2-3 months from now a day one player will most likely be able to get what I have. But for now until those couple of months I can feel accomplished.

Stubs can be earned from literally everything played in this game as rewards & end game payouts. However there is NO FREAKING way it will be enough stubs to buy cards you are not capable of earning in BR going 12-0 which sell easily as the most expensive one's within the market. The only other way to make stubs at a healthy amount is by flipping cards in the market. Plain & simple. Now it's up to you if you want to take the time with grinding time in the market to just flip cards with going back & forth in biding wars with others trying to do the same with cards that have the best buy/sell spreads profit wise.

I don’t know man. I finished a couple of collections last night and was down to like 20-22k. I played a few games to finish the spring showers conquest and I’m back to 37k.

There are stubs to be had. Like one of the posters mentioned, mini seasons are good for stubs and xp, plus the cards you can flip at the end. The mystery map is also a good way to earn stubs as you grind out missions. It's only five packs, but only takes about 25 minutes and I've pulled a number of diamonds out of those and made plenty of stubs from the selling of cards. I only have three teams to complete in the live series collection now.

Remember the more the game gives stubs the more the prices cards will go up. You would still get as far you are getting now. Live collections and big player collections should take awhile.
