What is the deal with ball player this year? Can you only make 1 guy period? I maxed out my SS and wanted to level a catcher next but it's not giving my catcher any progress in the ballplayer archetype program? Is this a bug or some [censored]

In the ballplayer screen go to manage then create or change ballplayer

Yeah I did that but it still is progressing my SS when I playing RTTS with my catcher. He's just sitting with 0/100 progression on bronze arch and it keeps putting his stats towards my main

I think you also need to activate you ballplayer in loadout screen but not 100% sure

does anyone know if theres a way to use your ballplayer in a secondary position online diamond dynasty or will he just take the normal out of position penalty always. I hate that we pick our main player early in the year and hope we guessed right on which position sds will under appreciate this yr smh lmao

So why can no one from SDS comment on this very COMMON issue. If I switch from one ball player to the next I should be able to lvl that players specific archetype!! This is so frustrating!!!!!

Go to you maxed out SS CAP & switch out his Diamond Archetype & Perks to any of the Bronze 1's in your inventory. Then go to the C CAP & equip him with the Diamond Archetype & Perks & make sure you activate him. That option to activate him will be in a circle on the mid right side of screen just next to the circle for equipment. Any equipment in your inventory can be used more then once. So you do NOT need to own the same Diamond Glove, Cleats or whatever 2 or 3 times. Just owning 1 allows you to use that same 1 for all your CAP's.
In RTTS you should be defaulted to the C CAP now. If not, then on the pre enter game screen on the left side you will see the CAP's you have activated & you could choose which 1 of them to be active for that game. Having the Diamond Archetype & Perks on him will have him at a low tier Diamond Rookie. You will need to build up his attributes further to eventually max him out by playing him in RTTS. But he will start off at Diamond level rather then Common or Bronze level.
