This might be a little biased opinion but the event rewind reward pack is bogus. I’ve been sitting on 3 Nolan Ryan’s from the very first event. My thinking behind this was that only a limited amount of people were able to play that event so the Nolan Ryan was “rare”.
I was sitting on it hoping that when the master collection comes out his price will go up. It was already sitting at about 33k over the last couple days.
Now this pack rewards the people who didn’t play the event and they get the opportunity to get the reward cards. Not only tanking the price of all the cards but making my time spent in the events worth nothing.
If I would’ve known they were going to do this pack I would not have played the atrocious event at Forbes.
I understand the other side of it that some people did not have the game yet so they couldn’t get the cards. Or not everyone has the time to play every event.
It’s whatever at this point still gonna hang on to them, but the cards should be available only for the event. I can’t remember them doing this in the past and definitely not this early. Defeats the purpose of getting the wins in my opinion.
Always a risk in investing, even in a video game with fake currency.

I bought two Cishek's with intent to sell them when the first collection dropped. I sold 1 to pick up Signature Franco (that seems like a good step so far) but I still wanted to sell my other Cishek later. Maybe after this event his price will go back up. If not, I'll just keep him for collecting for myself.

But remember, they will keep dropping rewind packs after they add new players. So it is not as if the market will be extremely flooded. Those Ryan's could end up being extremely valuable when the first big collection drops in 3 or 4 weeks.

Events are hardly as profitable as they use to be most people now in days just hop on to farm XP for players they like/wanna use .

Agreed, I was expecting release later in the cycle. Doing so after the first program is a big deviation from last year. I was thinking investment might be best stub maker v flipping, but now I just don’t know.
Maybe I’ll adjust my goals of having every card. Sell what I won’t use, keep top tier cards that would fit specific team build and not even really worry about market.

Tbh at this rate it seems like the only cards you will even need a significant amount if stubs for are the LS gatekeepers, world series rewards, and BR 12-0 anyway. I think they probably want people to get away from the "gotta catch em all" mindset

Yeah it's interesting they have done alot yo keep the value of cards manageable now some will argue they are doing that to limit stubs and that's fair but at least now when the first collection drops that Nolan Ryan card won't be 200k cause 3 people have all 100 available

Honestly, they're screwing us folks who haven't spent real money for stubs. It's going to take the entire year to complete the collections NMS without wasting hours of time flipping cards. Just boring.

It’s spend money or Lots of time grinding the game. but u can complete it NMS early even without flipping but u gotta play ALOT .

I mean
Money Spent = get things right away because you paid for a short cut
No Money Spent = Grind the game to get everything for free but it's gonna take time.
Not sure what you want to be honest if you are spending money things should be easier to aquire then NMS
