Has anyone else noticed that as you parallel cards, the upgrades are reflected when viewing the card but the don't show up as upgraded in game? I have Parallel IV Mookie Betts. His defense is now diamond but when fielding the ball with him the gold shield remains. This may be purely cosmetic but it would be nice if it was fixed. Hopefully this isn't impacting the performance of these players in game.

The card fielding diamond is not the same as the in-game shield diamond. The in-game shield is only connected to their Fielding rating - 90+ is diamond (so Betts will get a diamond shield in-game at Parallel V since he's an 85 Fielding rating on his base card).

I believe that the card fielding diamond (or gold, silver, bronze) is tied to a mix of the fielding ratings.

This is correct. The in game shield is determined by fielding rating only.

    80-89: Gold
    70-79: Silver
    60-69: Bronze
