SDS should skip a year...

to revamp player models (that need it) for next generation consoles and enhance the commentary experience completely. I'm sure the community would not mind not having a game for 2023. They wouldn't mind waiting until 2024 if the above were completely revamped. Anyone with me?

Licensing doesn’t work like that

Please explain.
I think what he is saying is the guys doing the commentary or certain players if not all get paid for being in the game. Therefore if you are not selling copies then where would money come from?
It's more detailed than that but that is the jest. At least how i think about it.

They can’t; next gen console shortage and Switch support.

No sports game that makes hundreds of millions each year would ever do that. Especially one that makes so much off of a card game, like MLBTS does.
Nice thought though. Let us know when you come back to the real world.

player models i dont care about id play with 2d stick figures if they were going to revamp the gameplay instead... Im talking hitting pitching and fielding id be fine with waiting a year or two if fixed properly .. However it would have to be basicly a whole new game not this copy and paste bs we have seen from most sports games companies for years now... or else i wouldnt keep buying there game after that i would have no faith in anything sds offers

Skip a year over "player models" lol I'd say they have much bigger issues than "player models" but skipping a year won't solve them all. They need passionate developers who love seeing the fruit of their hard work show at release. They can slowly finish a checklist without skipping a full release and hundred millions of $ to help budget the next release.
