Diamonds Dropping?

I’m looking to complete some LS collections, but I know a roster update is coming soon and I haven’t been keeping up with MLB. Anyone think that any of these (85) LS Diamond players will drop to Gold? Thanks.

I don't pay close enough attention.....but I get the feeling that they don't actually reflect performance on the field sometimes. You think a player is playing great and is at a gold 84....and he doesn't get bumped. And vice-versa. But I could be wrong...

Just examine their 1st 2 weeks playing IRL right now. if they got out on a great start, then they will go out overall & in card tier. If they just doing ok, then no change will take place with their card. if they are NOT doing well at all, then their overall rank & tier can drop.
I expect Pete Alonso to go Diamond for the 1st time & to see Lindor go back to being a Diamond again..

Thanks. I do remember a couple of cards last year that should have gone Diamond way earlier than they did.

Thanks. That makes sense. I invested in LS (NYM) Escobar at 650 stubs, so I hope he gets bumped up to a high Gold or Diamond.

Assume that if a gold goes diamond then a diamond goes gold.
The only open diamond slot I see on the horizon is Starling Marte.

Ratings are based on a three year average, so a great start doesn't necessarily mean a bump, or loss, in rating.

I'd buy Arenado now if you don't have him yet. He will end up a 90+ very soon, if not in the first update. Luis Robert will most likely drop to gold. He's been terrible to start the year.
