What's the biggest disappointment for you this year

For me, it has to be the commentary. It seems like there's a complete disconnect between the commentary and what is actually happening in the game. A lazy fly ball to shallow RF is called a fly ball to the wall, and a line drive to the left-center field gap is always called a hit down the line. It also seems like it's all the same lines every game and we're barely 3 weeks past early access.

The feeling that you can’t play through a game without having to battle the Sim/RNG along with your opponent. Was hoping for a more PvP experience without the game itself trying to influence outcomes. I don’t want to win/lose on flukey stuff and this years game is full of it.
Better graphics would have been nice too. At least a noticeable difference.

Giving up rockets on balls way out of the strike zone along with the increase in very late/early hits. That is tied with the down tick in exit velo this year.

Good point. I shouldn't have said it's the biggest disappointment. I know this applies to so many other things, but it just seems like such a simple thing to not be able to get correct.

So far the pitching problem hasn’t bit me yet; when I lay a changeup thigh high instead of the ankles it’s usually my fault. No dot guaranteed this year unless you’re perfect. 20 drove me nuts though; not this year.

Notice how everyone is batting over .300 this year?... They ruined hitting for children.
Market is garbage
Hrs played/Stubs earned is abysmal this year.
I played for 7 hours last night, opened over 30 packs and got nothing, fine but thet means that all night I made 4000 Stubs. That's not good.Perfect pitches being forced into the stroke zone so Timmy and Tommy can get hits too.
Online play has to be the anchor or this game and they ruined it. Without solid online play then offline mean absolute nothing to 90% of the players. Because we/they will get tired of playing the cpu.
All these changes were made for 1 reason. They want to keep kids in games in hopes the spend more money. All game developers see how much dirty money games like 2k, madden, and fortnite rake in from mommy's and daddy's credit card and they can't help themselves. It's ruined battlfield, madden, 2k, apex, call of duty, grand turismo, valorant, on and on and on... the show lasted longer than others. Losing the ps4 exclusive will be the death of such a quality game. It feels alot like madden this year.

The commentary is absolutely atrocious.
Among a thousand issues with it, each time after you put a pinch hitter in the box for your pitcher:
“And now the pitcher up to bat”

The worst is when Boog does that little laugh/grumble then starts talking. That sound is terrible.

No real rewarding secondary grind beyond the featured program.
Last year we had team Affinity, but that got taken away because people hunkered down in Showdown instead of playing baseball.
In 2000 we had the XP reward path alongside the innings program.
Going all the way back to ‘16 & ‘17 the cpu tracked our individual stats and unlocked stubs & small missions when we hit milestones.
This year…NOTHING.
We are now 1 step above collecting digital Braves hats.

I couldn’t have said it better myself.
Little Billy, Timmy and Tommy have ruined online play unless your in the top 5% of players who only really play each other at the top level. For anyone in the mid to lower ranks….we are just trading wins/losses as the game deems who gets it. Wins/loses feel very fabricated.

In an event today, I hit a home run with my leadoff hitter in the top of the 1st inning and boog starting screaming about it being a home run “in the late stages of the game.”

Actually, the top players usually friendly each other until they find someone with a record they know they can beat.
