That a no brainer move right there. Boone's job is to win games. Didn't appear to work but it was the correct move from a managerial standpoint.

Sportsmanship are you serious ---its called you're a Manager of Major League Team you do what's best for your team - you're making it sound like that was his last at bat for the season. I know Detroit doesn't have much to look forward to but seriously it was the right move.

I'm rooting for Cabrera to get the 3,000, which he will. However, your point of view is from a bias fan perspective. It was a smart baseball move that didn't work out for the Yankees. You play for the win, not personal accolades, especially not ones for the opposing team. That may be hard for someone like you that hasn't played organized sports since age 6 t-ball, but chalk that one up as your lesson learned today, champ.

It is not like He walked him every at bat. That would be something to cry about. It is still early in the year and he will to his hit. Stop with the none sense.
