I’m getting close to silver one, has anyone taken Larkin, and if so what have their thoughts been.

Debating between him and Sandberg. I’d assume Larkin plays like a poor mans Honus without the power vs righty’s?

I hit pretty well with the top of my lineup now. Mantle, Snider, Sandberg and McCovey

Larkin is rock solid, crushes lefties and runs well. I personally would take sandberg, he just seems more well rounded

He's a little like Honus (I like Larkin's swing better), obviously less power vs righties, but still some. The attribute is like 60 something, but he hits way more homers than you'd expect of someone with only that much power. The way I see it is: if your opponent starts a lefty, he's guaranteed for at least one moonshot. If your opponent start a righty, he'll probably go 1/4 or 2/4 but he's got sneaky power, I wouldn't label him as a contact hitter.
