To all the seasoned veteran players out there, what are some good techniques / tricks; to maintain and control your PCI placement while you're hitting? Thanks in advance boys.

best to do this in a practice mode rather than a game.
pick one spot of the zone, focus on getting the pci there and having ball in it when contact, then when you are consistent work on getting there with good timing.after that is consistent move on to another part of the zone and repeat. -
Practice. Play a lot. Batting practice on legend with sliders all the way up on pitch speed. Kontrol freeks.

I'm not the best player, but I always cheat slightly up and in with the pci before the pitch. Always think fastball inside and adjust to offspeed away.
Also I don't use the pci anchor. I did at first but I stopped

Turn off outer PCI, it's useless and you'll get lazy. I only keep the diamonds (inner PCI off), but one thing at a time.

The way you grip your controller and place your finger on the analog stick also makes a big impact on accuracy.
I place my thumb in a 90 degree angle in the center of the analog stick, it may help.

I have always used no pci or just the inner lines. I do not like the dots, distracts me when it crosses through the ball on off speed. I always start my pci up and in. This is preference. I start it there bc it is the fastest pitch a pitcher can throw. Then inside low, then high away, and slowest pitches are low away (for timing). Practice not slamming your pci and always be ready for fastballs. Slamming is gonna be pulling down, practice being soft on the stick. Hitting w pci is ab picking the pitches you like. I rarely swing at outside pitches and sit for fastballs. Everyone has an ego to blow that 102 by you high. Don't let them. Most people throw their offspeeds off the plate and force them to throw hard in the zone.

Step 1] STOP SLAMMING IT

Lot of practice on legend sliders up so pitches are slow online. Kontrol freeks help as well for minimal movement I use the white galaxies but it’s preference. I’d use whatever PCI setup is most comfortable for you I just do the diamonds yellow 60%. Another thing that helps me is I use my thumb at bottom of stick to reduce slamming but also easy to adjust to high heat and sinkers inside

I find I hit better when I do this as well.

listen a lot of ppl will say practice mode which would help but thats boring so I dont blame you if you dont. so I say is get a routine pre pitch I do a full circle some ppl dance the pci others dont move it. also if im "off" I certainly over move the low pitch so im under it and dont catch up to the high pitch. so during a pre pitch ill lower my pci like a practice just like this is how far I have to move it thats it and do that a few times and it helps. a lot of it is thinking less is more when it comes to moving the thing bc myseslf and many others here get amped up seeing a meaty pitch and pci goes straight down. really it is practice but just think you have to move it a lot less than you think to get where you need to go
