Hitting is backwards in this game

If your games are anything like mine, bad hits are the ones getting rewarded the most while good hits are bringing back memories of 18 and 19. It’s completely backwards…you do everything right and you fail…you do everything wrong and
you bloop your opponent to death or vice versa.All kidding aside, this needs to be addressed. I truly feel like they dumbed down hitting to a new level. Bloop hits happen in baseball but this game is simply rewarding them too often.
Also, fielders are glitching out at times acting confused and it’s hard to control them. This has lead to more batters getting on base than I can count.
Not sure if you guys are working on anything but please try some adjustments to hitting before this game goes down as worse than 18 and pre HR/9 nerf in 19.
I don’t mind losing when my opponent did things right more often than me but currently doing the wrong things more often is winning games. It’s backwards.

I hear ya, man. Until they make the game based on physics instead of RNG, its going to feel unfairly out of our control at times. Youll get those breaks eventually and the other guy will be in your shoes.
If it makes you feel better, out in reality, baseball is fundamentally just as odd. One guy will hit a 100 mph line drive straight at the CF for an out, and the next guy will dribble one in the infield and get a hit out of it.
Baseball is silly....but thats why its great. -

I enjoyed them just like I’m enjoying 22. If I didn’t, I wouldn’t have kept buying the game.

In Game 1 of the 1954 World Series between the Indians and Giants played at the House or Horrors known as the Polo Grounds, Vic Wertz hit a tank over 440 feet to straight away center (we can call that a perfect/perfect). Of course Willie Mays tracked it down and made arguably the most famous catch in baseball history resulting in a long out.
In the bottom of the 10th, pinch hitter Dusty Rhodes (the ballplayer not the American Dream and father of Cody and Goldust) hit a cheap fly ball to right which traveled just over 260 ft. A fly out in any ballpark except the Polo grounds where it landed safely in the first row of the right field bleachers for a game winning 3 run homer hit almost half the distance of Wertz' ball.
Baseball is weird, yes this is a video game, but aren't we playing it because we love real baseball? If I want non reality, I'll get killed in Elden Ring @Ikasnu_PSN respect.

I did. Then again, I played Madden 21 for about three months and hated it. To show my displeasure, I haven’t bought Madden since and won’t do so in the future. I also didn’t go on their forums and complain about it every day. I just stopped playing and found new games to play.

I did. Then again, I played Madden 21 for about three months and hated it. To show my displeasure, I haven’t bought Madden since and won’t do so in the future. I also didn’t go on their forums and complain about it every day. I just stopped playing and found new games to play.
I understand. For some of us this is the only game we play and we keep playing despite its flaws in hopes that we get one year where the gameplay is awesome. That’s also the reason why we voice our dislikes. If that’s a sin then shame on us.

If they know it’s the only game you play and they know that you will keep buying it every year despite all your complaining, why would they bother listening to you? It shows there is nothing they can do to lose you as a customer.

I would hope they’d take our concerns and try to improve on them. If not, then your right….they are playing us as fools and taking our money. Hopefully SDS has more integrity than that.
