Does anybody remember if there was a fix last year for cap shields and defensive attributes dropping from Diamond to Gold during offline play?

It's because after the first at bat the game switches your position player to a starting pitcher. Don't have a single pitcher CAP but back out and my shortstop is now a Starting Pitcher.
