I am a competitive person

But I always wonder if I just sit there and think, before playing, that this is a video game and one of it's reasons for being developed is to help people relax and forget about life's issues; if it wouldn't bother me so much when people do stuff that they shouldn't.
But the competitiveness in me always comes out like Hyde to my Dr. Jeckyll

When a game starts to upset me or even make me angry, I take a break. I’ll play a different game or find something else to do for a while. It’s not worth stressing out over a video game. It’s meant to be fun. When it stops being fun, find something else to do.

I'm more of a person who would voice their opinion in a forum than get physical.
The gf/wife was in an abusive relationship before and I don't believe in putting her through that again; even if it's just throwing a controller, slamming my hand on the desk, verbally yelling, etc.
Which is why I vent in here.

I wasn’t proud of it especially after the fact. It definitely was a wake up call to get my anger issues under control and my wife was very supportive of me working on it.

People get really mad when they spend $80 on the game, and $500 a month in stubs. Idk why.
