High sinkers

Let me be clear. I love this game. My only issue is people intentionally throwing high sinkers in the strike zone. In the majors no pitcher throws a high sinker and if the sinker is high its going to get crushed in real baseball. Just a thought of making a high sinker a meatball pitch.

My only issue is with the perception. A 95 sinker up in the zone looks way faster than any 95 fastball. This is because the sinkers look like curveballs out of the pitchers hand.

FOTF Webb is dotting high sinkers on me right now in the event.

I throw them sometimes but people can crush them if they get to them early.

Sinkers are basically a visual glitch in the game the way they come out of a pitchers hand, and have been that way for a few years now.
You will almost always be late on a sinker if you aren’t ready for it because the first few frames out the pitchers hand tells your brain “offspeed”. -

I have said this for years! No one, I mean no one intentionally throws a high sinker in real life but I think they nerfed it this year as I don't see them nearly as often. If some one is spamming you with high sinkers they wont be nearly as accurate. Wait it out and take walks. Or anchor your pci up in the Zone and make them pay the price!

High sinkers were just as broken in 17,18, and 19. Its just that no one started abusing them until MLB 20

All High fastballs you have to be sitting on. If you are reacting to it you will be in trouble. If you are sitting on a high sinker you can crush it. Now the movement a sinker makes in game out of the pitchers hand compared to real life is highly inaccurate.
Sinker should look like a straight FB out of hand and then take a dip towards the end. Some will dip only down some down and towards pitchers throwing hand. Not start by elevating.
