NL or AL live series collection first?

I'm going to slow play it, no rush. I'm going to try NMS this year but want a plan. Set building it was drives me to play the game, so i got to be working toward something. I Was going to go NL first. I easily knocked out the NL central. Was working on East yesterday morning, but could not resist selling off all my Nationals players. I was getting sometimes 10 times what I paid for them. Which got me thinking is the NL East the best. I want that Utley. Acuna, Degrom and Max would help my team. But is Gary Carters swing broke again? Then I was like switch to AL and knock out west first. Adding Trout and Ohtani would be great, plus the Glause looks really good. But then AL west is Michael Young, yuck. Last year I was much more motives the final rewards were much better. Clemente and Thomas look great but both are positions that are already loaded and there will be more options down the road for OF and 1b. What do you guys think?

I'm going AL, but only because I pulled Acuna and sold him at about 200K to buy Ohtani and the rest of the Astro diamonds. I'm short Trout and Bichette for the AL, but I have Vlad not locked in. If his price goes way up, I'll sell him and work towards Trout.

What are the must do collections? Any rewards worth getting?
Didn't plan on doing any, but Ray Durham is killing me in the event.

NL is the way to go. People seem to really love Chase Utley and Gibson. Plus some really good relievers that are hard to find early in the season such as Kenley and Lee smith. Plus I think Roberto Clemente is better than Frank Thomas.

I was looking last night and that Gibson is sneaky good. They even gave him some speed. Now I might go NL West next. Kenly, Tatis, Turner and Gibson maybe better than Degrom, Utley, Acuna and Hank.

They rewards are all subjective. They have some nice relievers and some solid players but the best rewards force you to fork over a ton of stubs. FoTF also complicates things as some of those cards are better than the LS set rewards. Example: Price is the NL Central reward but I already have No sell FOTF Bell. They are pretty lose Stat wise but I like Bells switch hitting. So I play Bell over Prince.

This. I have the NL done and at first it was to get Utley and then Gibson/Jansen. But Clemente has been ok too. AL is weak as I’ve never been a fan of Frank Thomas though Glaus is a good bench bat for lefties.

I really thought this was gonna be the year I do the NMS thing. Spent an all time low last year. Unless flipping gets drastically better here soon, I will fail yet again. Oh well….
-
So I pulled Trout and locked in the AL. Young, Glaus, Heinke, Frank, Shohei, Vlad, and Trout are all beasts. Prince is a great bench bat and means you can use him at first and put Frank in the bench if you prefer lefties. Ray is really good, great pinch runner who can also hit, but I prefer LS Ramirez over him right now.

I pulled the trigger and did NL west. It allowed me to sell some of my auctiinable FOTF cards and cover Tatis. So now I have a coin stack to flip with to earn the NL east.
