Why does it seem like Fernando Tatis Jr. & Raul Mondesi Jr. are faster than Rickey Henderson & their speed rating rating is significantly less.

It was this way last year as well, Ricky and Gwynn seem to be guys that do not play up to their speeds consistently

Last year it felt like Ichiro had 10 more speed above Ricky instead of 8 less

Wild guess here but I'm assuming you're talking about them getting to first base, because I'm pretty sure rounding the base is barely noticable with guys like that. And in that regard the obvious difference is that Ichiro swings from the left side of the batter's box and therefore has less distance to cover than Rickey who swings from the right side. That's a significant difference.

No i’m talking about if I hit it into the whole at SS I still get gunned. Mondesi & Tatis are safe every time.
