Help with explanation of Programs in 22
-
In 21, I completed every program.
I am an offline gamer and no money spend.
In 21, I use to do the moments and then they had an option to either exchange players or play a game vs the cpu on all star or higher. I really liked this so it didnt tie anyone to online play.
This year I am a bit confused. I see they have exchanges but at this point of the game I don't have enough players to complete a 15000 exchange. Fine. But instead of the 'play vs cpu team on all star or higher' (they maybe will have this option later???), they have something with parallelling players and/or teams.
That last part I dont really know what it is. Is it I just got to keep playing x amount of games with the particular players or teams?
Last year I liked how they made it in each program where you would obtain a player and then you had to get 5 hrs w/ him for example. Now I see instead of a goal like # of hits or # of K's etc.. it's again parallel xp points. Which again, no idea what that means.
Can someone help explain it to me like you're explaining the programs in 22 to a 5 year old?

Parallel XP is a sort of bonus xp for each individual player. Its pretty much self explanatory if you look in the parallel section of the player card. It explains what it is, what it does and how you get it.

You gain parallel experience by using players in full games, not moments. This means either conquest, events, mini seasons, and others. You get more by playing on higher difficulties. It's easier for me to gain this with pitchers, as I suck at hitting, even on rookie difficulty.

It's not difficulty based.
You get more for playing online vs playing offline but that is it, rookie offline is the same as HOF offline as far as Parallel Points
Original Poster - view a player card and go to the second tab. It has a breakdown of Parallel points there.

Instead of "get 4 hits", it's "earn 100 XP points."
You can get it by 10 ABs or 5 singles or 2 HRs or 8 RBIs or whatever adds up to 100 for that particular player.
Just use the player and you'll end up earning the XP.

Thanks everyone. So I guess it’s like an extra added step to look it up on the player card.
I liked the simplicity of last years.
