Can't Sell Cabrera?

From the Cover Series. It says I have him active, but he's not -- not on my DD team, not in the Event, not in DD, not in Mini Series...
Has anyone else had a problem like this? Solutions?

Do you have multiple DD lineups? Check any and all players on the bench? also you have to physically remove him from events if he is in there

If he is truly not in any of your squads or auto generated into your event squad, then that means you locked him in, but when you go to sell it will tell you which one

Even if you haven't entered Events; he could be in your lineup.

Nah, he's not in any of my lineups and haven't locked him in to the collection. I have both Events and BR active right now, so not that. Only 1 DD roster, and he's not in that.
Oh well.

having this same issue with Tattis jr cover athlete, I know he is not in any lineup or locked into a collection, still wont let me sell
