I just assume this happens to any popular video game that thee servers crash the first week its out. Doesn't matter how big a game company is.

You would think that just one time they’d anticipate how much server traffic there’s going to be, then make sure the servers can handle double/triple that for launch at least.

I asked this in another thread, so sorry for the duplicate but I am curious about this:
If I play RttS or MtO when the servers are down, will it save all the XP I accumulate and theme credit it to me when the servers are back up? Or is it pointless to do anything right now?

I mean it didn't save my conquest game even though I had already finished it, so...

That’s true but conquest needs an internet connection at all times, right? I can play RttS offline so I imagine it works differently under the hood.

Marginally so. The ideal is no server issues at all. They should have learned from last year—that's the point I'm trying to make here.

Yeah, it really does. Games in general have overloaded servers after release; it's common.
