Everyone just complains…

Look the game is not perfect and no game is.
People last year complained about how easy it was to get TA cards, SDS this year made it harder to get them but people are still complaining.
The game has always pumped out free cards to get later down the road you just have to be patient. The game is meant to be fun. If you are pumping hours into the game and not having fun then don’t play the game. Don’t just come on here to complain. I have had fun just playing the game. Sure it would be nice to have 5 million stubs from sitting and flipping the market but I’m having fun just playing.
People are comparing this game to Madden and it is nowhere close to Madden. Madden you can’t compete unless you pump hundreds of dollars into the game. SDS made it so that you can have a good team that can compete without spending a single dime. But because you don’t get enough stubs after completing a RS game people are saying that it has turned into EA. People complain how Madden and 2K are just the same game with a different cover so SDS changed things up on how they are doing things and people still complain about how it is so different from last year. Give me a break.

Finally, after however many years, in 2021 I burned out on FIFA. Will never, ever go back. In September, I saw The Show 21 was free in my Game Pass so I downloaded it on a whim. Had never played before but always wanted to try. I played 21 straight through till March 30. I can't believe how much fun content is in here without the need to spend money. I'm older now, don't get long extended stretches to play, but there's a million different options offline. (I'm an atrocious online player.)
Anyway, I was so geeked to play 22 from the very beginning and I'm having fun so far, but I can't believe how negative the tone is on here. Glad to see someone talk about how there is actual fun to be had.

It’s just the digital equivalent of trying to ‘work the refs.’ It is poor sportsmanship.
The grind for free cards is just fine. Should the game mode reward more stubs? Absolutely. Will the adjustment in QS values make the need for millions of stubs less imperative? Yes, but in the long run…in the short term, not so much.
We will just have to wait until the non-time sensitive programs are released to see what we are actually dealing with.

Exactly people want god squads and be able to acquire every card on day one. But if SDS did that then there would be people complaining how easy it is to get cards.
Its day one people. The season hasn't even started yet.

I'm complaining because I can't get any further than the starter program in DD because it keeps freezing. Wish I could get a response a refund or just wipe my starter program back to the beginning to see if I can get past the open a card part without freezing

I’m fine with the content and pay out, don’t love it but understand and no complaints.
But missing stubs/cards, , broken mini seasons, freeze offs…..not sure how you can bash anyone complaining about those things.

I think, for some people, the game isn’t that fun, but it takes a certain amount of time to realize that and move on.
You know, it’s similar to the old definition of insanity thing.

They only thing I don’t like is the random packs for FoTF because I have horrible pack luck and OCD about players not wearing high socks on my team, but that’s a me thing... Otherwise it’s been fun and refreshing and most of the changes I’ve liked.

I love the game itself, a few bugs here and there aren’t an issue to me and will be worked out over time. What I’ve been complaining about is the fact I preordered the digital deluxe edition and didn’t receive any of the packs or stubs that were supposed to come with it. I also bought some stubs and they vanished immediately. I submitted a ticket with support and I’m just waiting to hear back. So although it might sound like people are just complaining for the sake of complaining, there’s other people who have legitimate reasons for doing so.

Understandable but I like the change where it is random. Last year the first card everyone went for is the Eduardo Cabrera and that is all I would see anytime I played online. Later in the year it was either Cabrera or DeGrom cause those were the first two everyone went to. At least this year there is variety and if you grind long enough you can rewarded by picking who you want.

I believe the legitimate complaints that are warranted are the missing bonuses, cards and stubs and server stability.
The bonuses and stubs are items people payed for and should have, at least SDS is rectifying this. Slowly but surely.
Secondly, the server issues have been around for years and have not improved at all and I believe people have a right to be upset by that. Especially when a high percentage of players are playing online modes.
No game is perfect but developers and publishers should be held accountable when the same issues keep coming up in their titles. Look at 343 with Halo, they are in damage control mode and didn’t seem to learn anything from Halo 5 and MCC.

the first few months of this game is incredible. are there ppl out there that have spent so so much money (IDK WHY) just to have all diamonds and above 90+ sure, are they fun to play against absolutely not. im enjoying this game this year besides some minor things like mini seasons needing fixed. I am enjoying myself a ton and id rather have the FOTF be earrned than easily grinded via showdown or something like that
