They're probably gonna release the FOTF choice packs in future programs, just like they did last year with the 42 series. They leave the option on the table for the people to buy them if they want and eventually, they'll give us the packs when the cards will be useless anyway.
Yeah, they’ve been running the same play since Breakout Eddie Matthews years ago, collect 15 breakouts for 300,000 stubs because there’s only 16 BO cards in the game and one is a RS reward. Two weeks later release 30 breakout cards so everyone can get it. When people keep paying them early they aren’t going to close shop. It’s clockwork for these guys. Complete idiots paying 100k for FOTF cards yesterday like they’ve never played before.

Lol....not innings program.....no daily moments to do for a player....and they thought this was a good thing.....I mean what's the point in the daily moments/missions then......just for one k of xp....which you can get in gameplay and progress your parallel......just no reason there unless they fix it. I said screw it to the trevor story Homer with 65 power. .. just wasn't feeling it for 1k xp

TA was just to easy last year and in most cases didn't really require the community to play the game with the release of TA 2 and beyond. The other impact TA had was its devalued all other aspects of the game. RS rewards, BR rewards, Inning rewards were all viewed as lack luster because of TA. I can't tell you how many time people posted about new rewards in those mode with this statement
"These rewards are an L they aren't better then anything you can earn through TA so what's the point to grind out RS"
That statement right there is why we have had a whole sale change in the feature programs. Is SDS to blame in how they handled TA yes but so is the community because it can never be pleased.
Thus change is good and will be good because it will draw content out, you won't have those getting to 650k in 2 week then complaining there is nothing to do.
NMS can still occur you just have to find the new and best way to do it and isn't tat suppose to be way NMS is fun not because SDS hands over amazing cards for almost no effort.
The term NMS ment nothing last absolutely nothing this year being NMS looks like it will hold weight and those who do it will earn that NMS crown they so desire
I am coming for that crown this year, with the price of gas i have to go NMS this year.

Am I the only one seeing the irony here.

Now the best player is the people that have multiple users on one account so they can grind some dumb glitch 24/7 for XP.

I've just accepting the fact now that we are going to have this same stupid XP discussion at launch every single year. You don't need an XP method, you barely even need to go out of your way for XP. You people just want to complete it in 4 days so you can complain you have nothing to do afterwards.

The game works fine for me… just sayin

Yeah its pretty much their business model and it works for them so you can't really fault them for it. If you look on the "buy stubs" section, it literally says "Stubs are a universal currency that you earn while you play, but hey, if you want to buy some we won't stop you."
They're basically telling people "You can acquire all these cards just by playing the game. Also, we'll release all this stuff eventually if you can be patient and wait for it but if you can't be patient, give us your money."

This is the worst release in terms of stability I have seen from this company. Ranging from the "unhandled exception error" I see in so many situations multiple times per day, to wins being counted as losses, to the massive number of market issues that somehow properly track transactions while not actually completing them. Keep in mind this was all during early access, just wait for full release and see how bad it gets.
Unfortunately, we are living in an era where formerly trusted and professional game developers are becoming more like the worst actors in the industry. What happened to CD Projekt Red is happening to SDS. It's impossible that these issues weren't experienced during internal testing, but they don't care anymore and just want the money.
IMO, the game has regressed as a whole over the last 2 years. Yes, there are nice new features but too many bugs to be worth it. This drop off in quality is directly related to the expansion of platforms, which is obviously happening faster than they are capable of maintaining. It's so sad that it has become ok to charge for early access to a product that doesn't work correctly.
mate you are BANG ON with your post about expansion of new systems - this rarely gets spoken about on the forum - as soon as they started adding XBOX and Switch - i bet you that 99% of their work in the past year was just adding more systems and the respective coding for each one - completely disregarding actual gameplay - slap a new title, same game as the year prior, new system expansion - that's it

21's early release was much, much worse than this. You couldn't even get online for days and when you did, nothing worked and you kept getting kicked out.
