SDS Please fix the SUPERMAN fielding!!!
-
So far this year I am extremely happy with the gameplay changes, however there is still the issue of the "superman" fielders.
I have never seen a MLB player run full speed and jump into the wall without crashing into it! The CPU fielders just seem to either bounce off if it or somehow defy the laws of physics and stop on a dime an inch from the wall!
Additionally, getting sick of lower tier cards consistently making superman plays. Happens to me at least once a game. I am curious as to how the fielding stats matter at all? Some of these plays are just stupid ridiculous and only the top 10% of defensive guns should be making these plays on any kind of consistent basis!
Other than that, I think this is a big gameplay improvement on last year.

Welcome to The Show.
Not trying to be an ***. That’s just how it’s always been in The Show. Fielding stats don’t really matter besides reaction (sometimes) and arm strength (sometimes) and at least not having common defense or OOP.)

The one handed over the shoulder jumping catches are rather ridiculous. I had AJ Pollock drop a ball that he clearly got to in time, but wasn't set so I'll at least give them a little bit of a benefit of the doubt. But it's dang near impossible to hit it over someones head. Even more so than last year it seems.

They can make those catches but if you play a guy out of position at first he can't even catch a simple throw from an infielder.

I'm already tired of the outfielders super arm strength and accuracy on display. I got gunned tagging from 2nd with Griffey from the warning track in CF. Multiple times gunned at home with fielders with bad arms.
Also, so sick of the frigging CPU runners! Zero speed Molina can score from 2nd on a line drive to CF with Mantle throwing, but my 70 speed runner tagging from 3rd to home is gunned down from LF on a throw to the cutoff man?
SDS has just given up so far this year. Hitting blows too.

Ball-fielder magnetism a much bigger problem. If I hit it hard, almost guaranteed right at someone.

Yeah, in the TT, many balls were falling in front of fielders, but not in the actual game release.
