Those of us that are able to spend it and wanted early access paid the extra $40- and the game is unplayable
Where I come from- the adult world- that is paying for services that have not been delivered…

Last years game took almost a month to work reliably.
If it’s this bad during early access, just wait until it’s up on game pass and has a general release. IIRC last year didn’t have many issues (at least for me) during the early access period and was a complete mess on traditional launch.
It’s screwed up but you’re basically playing SDS to be big testers right now.
It’s going to be bad when the game releases to everyone … maybe the worst in the past 5 years.
I can’t even stare at my team full of commons for 10 seconds before I get an error message.
I’m going to play because I love baseball and love collecting … but $40 extra bucks for early access is false advertisement.

Transparency goes a long way. People are more forgiving when they know the details. Maybe a DB corrupted and they are trying to restore it. Silence just makes it worse. If it was a free early beta it would be different tune. A fee for service is a totally different thing.

The game was not playable for a month last year. That's why I didn't pay for early access, knowing that I wouldn't be able to reliably play during that time anyway.
exactly mate - SDS is laughing at everyone who paid extra for early access - they can't even get Day 1 right !!! not the first time either

I think it's funny, all the people complaining I've never seen on these boards before. LOL
Whiners almost every popular game has server trouble day 1 and to compare this game to gran turismo is a joke. Gran turismo has 3 game modes maybe 4 its like a half of a game with pure preditory tactitcs to make you buy credits, it should be called a demo version 38 missions and game over basically..Atleast with the show youll almost never run out of content and you can play most modes offline with the show as well with gran turismo not so much

I get the complaining thing, it is annoying and happens every year. I'm sure "I'm sorry" or "make up" packs will drop to those who bought early access. People do have a right to be upset. $25-40 more for three days early access means full three days. Its like paying for a 3 course meal and only getting the dessert. Everything else is under cooked.... Send it back to the kitchen
To be fair, it’s your choice if you want spend 25-40$ for early access.

But there’s an expectation that you will actually, you know, HAVE ACCESS.
When a business fucks up like this, they need to compensate people who paid fir something they’re not getting.

There are two modes that can be played offline: Franchise and Exhibition. Three if you count custom practice.

I guess my expectations were pretty low based on last year. Servers last year were unplayable for a month, but last night seemed super smooth if you took out all of the stupid tutorials that kept popping up. But if you paid extra money just to play for 4 extra days, that is your own fault. I did get digital deluxe but not because of the early play. It gave the best value of packs for minimal cash, that is why you should have bought the deluxe.

No, not even close. The two maintenance periods combined still don't come any where near that 30 consecutive hour period. They have not touched the already in place rewards. So, not even close to being in the same conversation!

That doesn't make it comparable to GT7 release! And there are plenty of people getting in games whereas in GT7 absolutely no one was able to get anything done (not even offline modes) during the 30 hour period!
You can be upset, but the comparison to GT7 is such an extreme stretch even Semper Gumby can make that stretch!
