The problems we are getting are indefensible. They knew their servers were junk last year and here we are at 2pm est on Friday of pre-release and the servers/game are already falling apart. No way they can hand traffic tonight, let alone next week during prime time. SDS should be ashamed and Sony needs to start making personnel changes.

4 of the last 5 years we've had to deal with this and it'll only get worse on launch day. Just have to expect it from SDS now and then they'll send 5k stubs and a 10 pack bundle as half-assed "apology". happens every year

Just wait till release day. This game is on gamepass again so I would be willing to bet the player count on the servers goes up x50.
