where you just need to accumulate innings instead of wins; I may actually play some RS this year.
I told myself that I was going to be an offline player and not touch H2H; but with me not having to worry about wins/losses in RS, the guaranteed BR Player Program draft round, and the shortened Events, I may try it out.
Won't have to worry about try-hards as much.

Ranked sucked for me last year. You would be winning and it would freeze up and give you nothing. Or you would run up against some cheese players. Don't have to worry about it this year. I'm also looking forward to not getting the messages about them being one win from the World Series, can I just quit to give them the win.

I missed the ranked part of the stream. Are you saying you can get WS rewards just by grinding innings in the mode?

Yes. I think it is 400 innings. Cumulative wins is not a thing anymore.

I love the new RS setup. I’ve always wanted to play and just have fun win or lose, this new setup allows you to do that without sweating it out because if you didn’t win….you didn’t make progress towards the goal. Now, win or lose your making progress. That’s a huge W.

400 innings? Yikes, that’s like 45 games in ranked per month. Even so, it’s nice that the rewards can be grinded. Some of those late CS games are heartbreaking.

400 innings? Yikes, that’s like 45 games in ranked per month. Even so, it’s nice that the rewards can be grinded. Some of those late CS games are heartbreaking.
It would have needed more games played per month last year with wins if people actually played them out and didn't quit though. Anyone that got 40 wins naturally in 21 clears the innings requirement easy
