Can't pre-order on PS5. Says "An unidentified error occurred. Try again in a few minutes"

Can't order on the console or website. A web search shows it's been a problem for awhile.

I tried using debit card. Should I buy PS cards instead? Has this happened to anybody else?

I preordered on the ps5 about two hours ago without any problems.

I just did mine by PS cards and bought it on my PS5 with no problems and is downloading now.

Called support and was told that if you add a credit card immediately before purchasing a game it locks your purchasing ability for 24 hours. Some security BS.

Now I have to go buy cards. See you goons tonight.

Maybe 10 minutes for me. If that.

Thats what I use, very smooth. Wondering if I should bite it and just preorder for tonight, I'm on Wonderlands all wknd and Elden Ring after that so not likely to play much BB for a few weeks to a month
