So far, I think this is one of my least favorite mlb the show games. That may just be personal preference. I have played the show for many years and this just doesn’t do it for me. Here are my hottakes:
First, the obvious one, there is something wrong with the hitting. I know I’m gonna take heat from all of the “pros” that play this game. But hitting is significantly harder in this game than any of the shows I have played in the past. I don’t know how to fix it but the first week of the game I loved it but now it’s a drag.
The skill gap between divisional and wildcard is very wide. I’m not even close to catching up to pitches as soon as I hit divisional. Idk how I can improve on it either.
Along with that the amount of Good/Goods I hit that don’t drop is ridiculous.
Showdown is beatable and honestly isn’t all that hard if you’re patient. It takes me usually 2 times to fully complete 1.
Pitching really isn’t bad now. I feel like I pitch like a top player in this game but my hitting is atrocious.
Ballin is a habit packs are complete trash. I have pulled 4 I believe and have gotten nothing but golds.
This new event is pointless if it is the same rewards. Who wants to play an event with an 89 cap, so basically all those 99 players can play still. With no good rewards. On hall of fame. Seems like a waste of time to me.
Why are there not more moments. I may be wrong but last year it felt like there was more content.
Team Affinities are a grind but some of them are worth it.
I still can’t figure how to draft the proper BR team.
I actually have been blessed fielding. I seldom make errors, but I see a lot of people complain about it.
Lastly, I think pitch speeds may be a little too high. I may just be a sped but I can’t catch up to to anyone that throws over 100 no matter the difficulty.
Don’t get me wrong this looks like all I’m doing is complaining. But I truly love the show games and I want the best for them. This is just my opinions. Leave yours below.

I agree it's a great game with a lot of potential for growth.
They need to make it a little easier to obtain stars It has changed since last yr on the amount they gave to people.it seems at times it's a snails pace to get them.
It feels like you have to play a lot to get anywhere on the XP path but then what do you expect it's a grind fest.
For the great to good players it's easy.To the middle of the row and below avg players(Noobs) it's hard work to keep up going from Veteran to the higher ranked plays and I just become someone's whipping boy..
I get the best players deserve all the game has to offer but the little guy should at least have a chance also considering not all copies sold are to the rich and the greats of the game..Other than that I do my best and get what I get..This virus has thrown everything out of order so a plan B had to be used because the season is in jeopardy as of now so roster updates and inside edge are no good atm..
At the end of the day it's a game I'll play if I want to. -

I'm 1 win off from Pennant Race in RS but I think that's as far as I'll make it but I try.I can't catch up to fastballs that well so it's a struggle 8-4 atm

Oh you loved the First Week when it was slow pitch softball? Who would have thought. Hitting still easier than ever in this game
