More of just a general baseball question but has there ever been a switch hitter with reverse splits (as in bats right for rhp and vise versa)

Why would there be? Very rare that a switch hitter would go right vs. right or left vs. left. I remember a couple that would do it vs a knuckleballer or lefties vs. Mariano’s cutter, but that’s not the norm.

If you are a switch hitter at the MLB level you have been doing it for a long time. Your Learned Muscle memory is locked in to hitting like that. And the reason guys do this is to see the breaking pitches better. Easier to pickup from opposite handiness pitcher. So they are always going to bat lefty vs righty or righty vs lefty. I remember watching Lance Berkman and people would say why dont he just always bat left handed? He is horrible batting righty vs lefty pitchers. But he would have been worse batting lefty on lefty because he wasnt use to it.

The whole point is to gain the platoon advantage. It wouldn’t surprise me to find that it’s been attempted somewhere, but it likely just wouldn’t work that well.

That said, Bernie Williams had 23 at bats in his career as a RHB facing a RHP. I’m not looking close enough to find out who it was against, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it was against the knuckle Wakefield, but I don’t really know.
