This is the only video game I've played in like 5 years. Sure I'd love to improve...which I have, at the beginning of the year, I couldn't navigate the menu. We all have different skills dude, we can't all be Barry Bonds with the Sliders turned to 11 facing Mach 12 fastballs. You do you boo.

I rarely used starters, but I had these guys ready: Kluber, DMay, and Civale for their pitch mixes. I never used them though.
The bullpen I used was: Sale (funk), Chapman (gas), Andres Munoz (gas), BWags (good per 9s), Doval (funk), John Franco (deception), and Graterol.
And of course, the controversial move of Ohtani from the box to the mound.

Well, tonight has been a different story, played a really good albeit frustrating 7 inning game where I went up 3-0 in the 1st and we both pulled the Ohtani Ace from up our sleeve. Down to 1 out in 6th, I give up a game tying HR to Freeman. He walked off on me in the 7th. Bummed about the L. Stoked about the good game.
But I got my 3 wins tonight, I know you're all sitting on the edge of your seat awaiting my reports. I finally beat someone with a WS banner. It's the little things.

Don’t waste your time and energy, he doesn’t play DD and yet he is here in the DD section trying to talk down on new players. Guaranteed that if you give him a god squad on DD he will suck and struggle to hit on legend speeds. Playing offline franchise with sliders turned on is way easier than playing online DD against 125 H/9

Do you face live series cards or do you face guys with 125 H/9, 100 Control and 100 B/B with an outlier fastball, a 94-96 mph sinker and a 99 break on off speed pitches?
If you do good, if you don’t then just be aware that your maxed out pitch speeds is the setting we use to practice before going into RS HOF and Legend games

Max pitch speeds on Legend offline gives you .6 seconds to react to a 95mph fast ball, real life is about .4 to .5, so you're telling me your online settings go lower than .6 reaction time?. I seriously doubt that, plus I can't begin to start on the settings you online people are playing at..your base running speeds, throwing speeds, outfield and infield speeds they are all out of wack..it is not realistic or a simulated way of playing The Show...you guys are stuck at default sliders aren't you?, Which is inherently unbalanced when trying to play as realistic as The Show allows. What you online guys are playing is just a mature version of RBI baseball. You think I'm pulling sliders out of my A$$ when I do Franchise? I spend at least 50 hours with help from Slider makers over at Operations Sports to develop as close to realistic video game baseball gameplay I can get it at...only then do I begin Spring Training.

I do love the friendlies as Many guys in this thread will confirm. My rule is we have to have party chat on as I enjoy the chatting with a buddy about baseball as we play as much or more than the game itself.
This weekend my son’s baseball team kicks off in a big tourney in E TX so I won’t be around much but let’s try to do it soon.

The fact that you did not understand half of my DD noob terms tells me everything I need to know. It’s easier to hit live series cards, no matter how fast your speeds are, btw, DD is not at default sliders, pitch speed online is faster than offline.

I try to wait until my opponent pulls the Ohtani on the mound card before I bring him in, all is fair game at that point.....
As we have discussed, this event is frustrating as while I prefer non HR derby events, I am doing pretty well so far without a loss, yet SDS shows me with 2 losses.....I would like to see how far I could really go without getting one in the standing....Oh well, that is all ego, which I openly admit

Yep, I hit a Homerun with Devers and was dashboarded. Please tell me this is common. I am not good at all. But a few quick easy wins never hurt. This is the first time I've tried events.
Congrats bro! I love quick easy event wins too. I got to 30 wins in 3 days and a lot of those wins were from being dashboarded.

This is either the worst or the best pickup line I've ever heard. Ok, your Sliders are better than my Sliders (whatever that means). I got to see Slash in Concert with Myles Kennedy the other day, that's cool right? My band had a fun gig playing for a humane society dog walk last Saturday. Lots of furry fans there. My buddy's little brother threw 4 scoreless frames including 3 double plays in his college debut yesterday.
.....oh, sorry I thought we were just babbling whatever comes into our heads to try and impress everyone.Back to regularly scheduled programming.

This is either the worst or the best pickup line I've ever heard. Ok, your Sliders are better than my Sliders (whatever that means). I got to see Slash in Concert with Myles Kennedy the other day, that's cool right? My band had a fun gig playing for a humane society dog walk last Saturday. Lots of furry fans there. My buddy's little brother threw 4 scoreless frames including 3 double plays in his college debut yesterday.

Don't you DD guys want to get better at the game?...you're all stuck at default pitch speeds and like All-Star difficulty?...you guys are stuck in casual limbo.
This is the only video game I've played in like 5 years. Sure I'd love to improve...which I have, at the beginning of the year, I couldn't navigate the menu. We all have different skills dude, we can't all be Barry Bonds with the Sliders turned to 11 facing Mach 12 fastballs. You do you boo.
Don’t waste your time and energy, he doesn’t play DD and yet he is here in the DD section trying to talk down on new players. Guaranteed that if you give him a god squad on DD he will suck and struggle to hit on legend speeds. Playing offline franchise with sliders turned on is way easier than playing online DD against 125 H/9

Do you face live series cards or do you face guys with 125 H/9, 100 Control and 100 B/B with an outlier fastball, a 94-96 mph sinker and a 99 break on off speed pitches?
If you do good, if you don’t then just be aware that your maxed out pitch speeds is the setting we use to practice before going into RS HOF and Legend games
Haha what?...I didn't understand half of that DD noob talk. But I will call BS on one thing though, the max pitch speed claim. Max pitch speeds on Legend offline gives you .6 seconds to react to a 95mph fast ball, real life is about .4 to .5, so you're telling me your online settings go lower than .6 reaction time?. I seriously doubt that, plus I can't begin to start on the settings you online people are playing at..your base running speeds, throwing speeds, outfield and infield speeds they are all out of wack..it is not realistic or a simulated way of playing The Show...you guys are stuck at default sliders aren't you?, Which is inherently unbalanced when trying to play as realistic as The Show allows. What you online guys are playing is just a mature version of RBI baseball. You think I'm pulling sliders out of my A$$ when I do Franchise? I spend at least 50 hours with help from Slider makers over at Operations Sports to develop as close to realistic video game baseball gameplay I can get it at...only then do I begin Spring Training.
The fact that you did not understand half of my DD noob terms tells me everything I need to know. It’s easier to hit live series cards, no matter how fast your speeds are, btw, DD is not at default sliders, pitch speed online is faster than offline.
lol just cause you say something doesn't make it true, you DD guys are hilarious, I come for the Show updates but I stay for the DD noobness. With what I heard from you so far I say you're the front runner for this month's Casual Noob award, I'm not sure what prize you will be getting but I'm sure there will be a hot pocket involved.

Bro....if there are hot pockets, I'm there. I'll try to make sure my ego can sustain these heavy blows you're dishing by calling us DD guys. And also, I know you're talking to the other guy because legit when you start talking about sliders and max speeds, my brain hurts, I'm so new at this I'm still in the "see the ball, hit the ball" stage of my training. But if it pleases you, I'd prefer to be addressed as Mr. Casual Noob the 3rd, or Casualus Maxnoobus.
