Since I won't be getting a PS5 for awhile; I decided that I may spend some money on two 150K stub bundles when 22 releases.

Any suggestions on LS players to snag off the bat?

I know Trout would be the consensus pick; but I doubt I can get him for less that 300K and I'm not spending $200 on one card.

Maybe Judge, Mookie, Acuna, one or two SPs, two CPs, and a handful of RPs?

Anyone out there that you would target?

Question-, and I'm not being sarcastic...do you know how to flip/have the time and patience? Even though the season may not be going yet, there will be tons of stubs to be earned on the market.

But, anyone who says you shouldn't spend money, it's your game and it's totally up to you. If not Trout, I would look at whomever the other less expensive gate keepers are. This year Vlad was not even a diamond to start, nor was Ohtani but they may be higher priced this year. Imagine if both Trout and Ohtani are expensive.

Other probables: Acuna, Tatis, Harper or Soto might be a big gatekeeper with his their big seasons while nobody else in the NL East stayed healthy or matched their numbers(Acuna and Degrom got hurt and Freeman was really good but not nearly as good as Harper or Soto).

The NL Central will be interesting this year. Arenado will most likely be the gatekeeper there again as Yelich has had a few down years. It won't be anyone on the Reds, Pirates or Cubs and while the Brewers pitchers should be diamond, I doubt they'll start super high.

Oh Trea Turner might be a good early pickup.

    My votes:

    1. Harper
    2. Soto
    3. Arenado
    4. Vlad Jr.
    5. Ohtani
    6. Tatis

I will have limited time to play. Maybe 2-3 hours a week!

While I do know how to flip; I'd much rather spend that time playing the game.

Now some may say; use the app and flip when you're not playing. That's not possible as when I say that I'll only have 2-3 hours a week to play. That means that I will only have 2-3 hours a week to be able to even turn on the PS4/look at the app/etc.

How dare you have a life outside the show hahaha. This will be my first year starting from the beginning so I would listen to some other people but those are my thoughts.

Trigga Trae and Polanco (in a sense of they will be good cards to use not investment)

I'm not a DD expert so take this with a grain of salt but the guys most likely to shoot up in price:
    Trout
    Acuna
    Tatis
    DeGrom

I think you're probably right on the money.

You will have to wait until the game drops to decide. If a live series card is 90+ overall it will shoot up in price after launch. 85-89 only go down unless upgraded

Any 90+ diamond. Prices will go up rapidly. I sold everything I had and got Trout for 180k in the first week in 21.

Stocking up on the preorder diamonds might be wise too (42 series legends).
