What is that icon that flashes when you're trying to pitch, it's just there to throw of timing ,frustrating! Runner at first no outs,next batter gets base hit,runner at first stays there I even start hit and run,runner goes half way goes back to first, why? Very frustrating!

That icon has always been there in previous games, it's the other player holding R2. It's purpose is to let a batter take a second if someone is quick pitching, unfortunately it is often abused
