When you purchase on the ps5 can you then also play it on nintendo switch?
Or do i have to buy it also on nintendo?

No you have to purchase it again for the switch.

Only way you could get away with buiying one, version and having for multiple is if you have swijtch, buy it there, and then have Xbox gamepass, and can play it via cloud stream, or download on Xbox series / Xbox One Console.

You have to buy it on each platform.
If you do, make sure you create an MLB The Show Account and link your platform accounts to it so your card inventory is shared across all platforms.
