New Hitting mode : Timing Impressions

I like this new hitting option and find it very difficult. Seems simple enough but i just can't get the timing down. Im sure it's RNG and many won't use it but hey, most of baseball in real life is RNG when it comes to the majority of hitters.
I like the simplicity of the new mode where you don't have to worry about location or direction but rather just timing the ball correctly.
The old 2K games had this option as well and like I said, I may go with it from time to time when I want a no stress game.

Maybe I missed something during the livestream but what is the difference between timing and directional?

directional you can influence the direction of the ball.
timing is just that, time the ball and swing.

It’s basically the same as pure analog, the only difference is you can use buttons to swing instead if you want to.
