This is the major issue I have with franchise mode and what keeps me from fully enjoying it. Now they put Shohei Ohtani as the cover so I bought the $100 to show my support of him, Japan, and of a pitcher (even is a two way player) but here is the huge issue I had have with all of their franchise modes every year. TRADING VALUE!!! (we also need better progression, and drafting logic)
I play as the Angels, Padres, and the Rockies. Those are my favorite teams, maybe the dodgers but I hate playing overpowered teams since franchise mode is too easy. I know this feedback won't do any good because it is too late but here it is:

Trading is broken and way too easy on franchise, I want an option to increase it like NHL does. I only play NHL and the show for sport games and for NHL it is hard and I have to give up a lot to get a good player. For the show I literally win the world series in the first year as ANY team. I can start with the Orioles or the Pirates, the Nationals, and I win the word series every single year on year one. I trade three 20 year old's that had D potential but are rated at 65-70 and I get someone like Max Fried in return.. like what? Please explain how that is a fair trade? giving 3 rookies who will never make it to the MLB for someone who is already an ACE pitcher in the MLB.. You have to change this, it is killing franchise mode. I have to implement so many rules for myself to try to make it as hard as possible for me. I have done and achieved the following challenges:
Won the world series on the first year(simming the season of course) with every team.
Won the world series on the first year with a team cost of under 100 million.
Won the word series 5 years in a row
Traded for every all-star starter 1 week before the all star game, (so my entire team was the all star team LOL)
This is just to prove you can get any player at any time with trading.
Won the world series in the first year and had 50/50 Top prospects on the future prospects list. (this one was the hardest I do have to say that) mainly because of simming chances.
    PLEASE FIX THIS!!

Also as a note, I didn't plan to buy this years game unless it was Shohei, and it was. I plan to stop buying this game after this year until they fix drafting IQ and trading IQ. Player progression can be improved a ton, but the other two things ruin the game for me to the point it is becoming unplayable.
