My issue with paralleling cards
-
My issue is that it takes a little too long to get from p4 to p5. It's forever.

P4 being the halfway point is perfect imo. Every opponent you face shouldn't have a full p5 team.

If you can't hit with 120 contact and 120 power, you're not hitting with 125 contact and 125 power.
I know this to be 1,000% true.
Still, I like the glittery P5 icon. It's pretty.

If you put in the time to p5 a card you deserve to use them anywhere you want. Also as others have said a card being p5 doesn't make them magical, if you aren't a good hitter having a card p5 isn't gonna make you any better.

They need to switch it up next year. If you P5 a player and it's all done offline; then that player shouldn't be a P5 online.
I know it won't work that way; because technically you could have two different versions of a card (if you play offline AND online).
But that's just my two cents.
Why should it matter how you P5 the card? One doesn't feel more earned than the other to me.

I hope they add to the parallel system this year. Have certain stat categories you can track for the cards. It would be cool to see what user has the most hits, homers, strikeouts, runs, whip, era, etc etc.
For each parallel. I know that's a big ask, but I would love to see who does what with each player. -

Lol these online rated players using only Dodgers just to bunt with half their lineup

I like the system, I probably hit 30-40 extra home runs with Mantle last year before I was finally able to prestige him... It makes dashboarding less painful stat wise.
-
If someone uses uses a player mainly offline, he is likely a mainly offline player. No matter what you have an advantage because they’re not used to playing online with that player or not at all.
-
So p5 is like putting players on the juice! Lol good hitters become Barry Bonds!
-
I only played offline this year and never got a single card to P5.
Offline players are already penalized somewhat by having to get 50% more of each stat to get the same advancement.
Also is plus 5 to all stats that big of a deal, when all the end game cards have extremely high stats already? If a player has 100 power then P5 gives him 105 power. Is a 5% increase that much of a benefit?

Again, the offline is great, especially for players that do both... You can give your guys some boosts during conquest or player programs and it hurts less when people dashboard... I think the big reason it exists offline is the dashboarding complaints they must have got... A big part of this community is great, but there are toxic people that play the game and being able to get prestige offline too helps negate that a little.
