This game better be improved for 22!

I have played at least 4 games that have froze on hits/throws towards 1st base. How is this happening still? Unplayable garbage!

Don’t count on it. The hype machine is up and rolling and soon the sins of last years game will be soon forgotten by most. I’m holding out until I hear news from credible sources about how the game plays.

And as I said before that’s a b.s. excuse. Not everyone buys the game every year so basically
SDS just gives those players a big F.U. and leaves them with a broken game? That’s no way to run a company. -

Thats the way yearly sports games go. You are free to purchase ever year, every other year or whatever you want to do, but you arent gonna get new stuff for more than the first 6-9 Months after release. Also in a couple years the game will be taken offline. All sports game companies do it. Nothing new.

How does it happen , well it’s been that way since launch. So all these people thinking 22 will be on that SDS knob once again and will trash the game again when it’s the same trash

Freeze offs are not new or exclusive to MLB The Show 21. They've been happening since forever and somehow they always find their way back into the game. So I wouldn't count on it.

I understand and agree from a content standpoint that they are done. But leaving people who decide not to buy the new shiny object a still broken one from last year is a bunch of garbage.

I understand where you're coming from but to continue working on the last game they would either need to hire more devs (not gonna happen) or split the team between last year's game and the new game which would cause either delays or more bugs for the new game. Ideal? No. Lesser of 2 evils at the moment? Yes -

YesYes what you’re saying is absolutely true but what I would love from sds is an acknowledgment that they’re at least working on the problem for 22… I played like 5 BR’s yesterday and 3 of them froze due to hits to 1st that’s just crazy… Luckily my opponents quit so I’m still undeafeated but jeez

Yah, SDS has not been great on the communication front in the past. Hopefully they get better but I'm not gonna hold my breath on that one -
It won't. I was watching Kevingohd play some old The Show games and it is literally the same freaking game now, just with better graphics. Pretty pathetic.
