BRO player animations are exactly the same. SMH. It's fine, SDS is working on widening their audience to Xbox and Switch. So they have to focus on that for awhile. I'll continue playing The Show 21 to get my quick fix of MLB gaming when I get the itch.

lol you are right - the trailer was trash - just pure video animations, nothing to do with real gameplay

I kind of think of Randy as Chris Sale on steroids.

They knew what they were doing. That people were going to be underwhelmed to enraged by the lack of visual progress. And then pee themselves when they saw Randy Johnson.
I guess I'm hoping for more online stability and UI upgrades. Franchise stuff would be nice, but that won't happen. The "improved" trade engine was actually worse and that was the only thing "added" to franchise. Sigh.

I honestly closed the video before the Randy Johnson "stinger". If it wasn't mentioned in this post, I would've totally missed it

I hope that Franchise or Season gets an overhaul and/or a new mechanic to get me excited to grind out a single player season... Back on PS3 and PS2 it was a little more bearable due to there not being that much video game competition. But now with online battlepasses and intriguing stories/gorgeous looking single player adventures, I dont ever see myself putting time into any of the single player modes.
Then DD is sugarcoated to make it look more exciting than it actually is. When there's multiple "attributes" that don't actually mean anything, among other problems.
Guess I'm just disappointed that MLB isn't in my "play when I get home" game library.

Not impressed. Looks the exact same as ‘21. Lipstick on a pig.
If SDS compiled the code with the 120fps patch from both Sony and Microsoft…that would be a huge win, and I would instantly purchase. Sony and Microsoft did the heavy lifting for SDS with the patch…and all SDS needs to do is check a box that allows the code to compile with the 120fps patch…and SDS can’t even do that? Doesn’t give me a lot of confidence in SDS, TBH.
120fps and the Negro Leagues…or I am not interested in ‘22 at all. I already have ‘22 based on what I’ve seen so far… and it’s called ‘21.
