I really liked the Gold Prospects in the TA Path from 2020. Daulton Varsho was a beast. Corey Rey from the Brewers, Sanchez from the Marlins. Didn't use any in 2021 cause I had better options by the time I unlocked them from the USA Map

Varsho was an animal, great call. I remember him sneaking into my lineup when there were about 15 better options cause the guy just straight up mashed.

I have been on record about not loving what I call "Fictional" cards.

For example when you feel you need to bench the likes of Piazza, Pudge, Carter and Bench for a player who has yet to play a game in the majors (Rutschman) then something seems out of whack. I understand why SDS does it. I understand why some players love them. Personally though, I will always have an issue with a prospect or future star who has better attributes than the HOF players that came before them.

But that is just me and the fictional cards permeate the game and I don't see that changing.

Definitely understand your logic and I don't disagree with you.

There are likely tons of Show players who are casual baseball fans and don't dive into the young talent/prospects coming up through the system, so I do think it's beneficial to scatter them throughout the game. Is it a little much giving some of these guys unrealistic attributes? Likely...but in SDS's mind you have to atleast make some of these guys playable.

I hope they put more of an emphasis on future stars and prospects in 2022. I know there are a lot of people in here who can't stand a juiced up Future Star but they missed quite handful of top 30 prospects in this years game. I will never complain about the content they put out, especially when its free....but do we need 3/4/5 cards of the same guy? Mix it up a little bit and lets get some fresh meat in there.

Definitely not saying dish out a ton of 99's....but I think having more playable guys early on in the cycle is good for the game and good for the sport. Off the top of my head the only ones I feel I saw on a somewhat consistent basis were Dominguez, CJ Abrams early on, obviously Adley, Cabrera and at times Mauricio.

I bet I am in the minority here

I wouldn't mind an Evolution type program for a few FS players.

Stat out as Bronze/Silver and work your way up to a Diamond version of said player.

Of course these would be non-sellable, so you may need a few players who can get off the market.

As for having multiple cards of the same player; maybe they could work it out that you get a boost in stats, and change in cover art, as you progress through the program.

They did Witt Jr and Tork dirty too. It was nice they got cards but Witt Jr. needed more contact vs R and Tork's swing is horrendous

I don’t mind it if a player gets one if they come up and take the first week. But I agree juiced up future stars are nice but needed, and I use Nate Pearson, Wander and Adley a lot lol

^^^^^ yes!!!! I love the Future Stars, especially Pearson, Adley, Witt Jr., Wander and a few others. Was hoping we'd get a MacKenzie Gore but he apparently went from the top 5 to potentially not making the majors ever. Shocking that the Pads system could mess up a good young arm 👏😳

I don't mind the FS having better attributes depending on the level of card and when it is released, but the HOFers should also be treated better...cough....Pedro....cough

think they shied away after last year with nolans, marsh, trammel being almost end game players very early. I think also this year crochet, edward, were too OP as well. I love the future stars but its tough to project them, as someone mentioend their gold verisions are awesome in BR

It’s not just you bro! I’ve never used a fiction card, and I never will. I can’t stand them!

Future Stars are one of my favorite things in the game. Hope they continue.

Keep in mind, the majority of the Finest cards are fictional yet people have know problem using them.

I just don't want another Nomar Mazara card for the Rangers. Dude was off the team and almost out of baseball by this year. They had Josh Jung last year but not this year, instead they ran out Mazara again. Really?
