No carry over franchises or roster to MLBTS 22
-
According to the MLBTS 22 FAQs we will not be able to carry over franchises or roster from MLBTS 21 to MLBTS 22. What a kick in the nuts.
MLBTS 22 will be a no go for me this year because of this unfortunately .
-
Same here. As a franchise player, and after the 21 disaster, there’s no point in buying 22 if I am going to lose my progress anyway.
-
Words cannot accurately express how disappointing this is. And the most frustrating part is the lack of explanation or transparency from SDS.

That's tough to hear you and ridin rosters do awesome work every year it's looking like this will be the first show I don't buy since it was 989

They did the same thing with ‘21. I couldn’t use my ‘20 Franchise team in ‘21. I pretty much quit playing Franchise and started playing DD instead (my entire ‘20 team is created players from ‘17).

Is anybody really surprised at this point the lack of franchise updates the constant focus on Diamond Dynasty and yet no one has mentioned the elephant in the room they're adding a whole nother platform to this game and the online was super unstable last year for most of the year and when they finally rolled out a fix they barely worked I'm at my last straw was with this game I don't know what to say anymore I'm just about done
-
Was there a reason provided? It could be for a forward-progress reason such as the long overdue expanding rosters past 90 man.
If so, it ain’t all bad. Let’s wait and see why.

I think it's time to ditch the series, they took away season mode for no reason, so you can't play a shortened season and they won't let you carry over your saves, and all the hard work historical roster makers put in is completely disregarded. This is what happens when they don't have real competition. Count me out.

I'm trying to figure out the logic of having a fairly deep and extensive player editor and a player vault as well as a roster vault yet they don't allow you to take all your hard work and carry it over to the next version of the game. Are they really expecting people to recreate their content every version and be OK with that decision?
WTF are they thinking?

I'm feelin like Thanos at the end of Infinity War right about now.
SDS has been doing this for a while. The focus on the mindless casual baseball fans getting excited to open loot boxes in DD is/has been their focal point for quite some time now... -
This was the best feature in any sports game. I got tired of starting over every year in other games after putting so much time into each franchise. With MLB you could build a story of your franchise and players. I gave a pass for the next-gen tech to settle in for ‘21. But not anymore. I will continue with ‘20.
I bought the game every year and supported it until now. For $60 ($70+ now) it was totally worth it for the amount of entertainment you got. What else can you spend that money on and get hundreds of hours of fun? I guess I’ll have to look because I’m going to not buy the game until year to year saves are back.
Good luck The Show.
A former loyal fan,
Zach

I’m officially done with the show

Man that’s a lot of hours we put. Content creators and hard core folks that play every game. Happy I played with Bacon’s fictional roster. I can just keep playing 21 with zero issues. For those who are not going to buy 22, do not do the updates to your 21 game for potential breaking.
